Sobbing Sobble!

Continuing their Galar region trip, Ash and Goh are perplexed when their food disappears in front of their eyes! It’s the work of a timid Pokémon named Sobble, who becomes invisible whenever it touches water. And when it cries, everyone cries! Goh catches it, but when he sends it into battle, Sobble becomes overwhelmed and runs away. It gets captured by Team Rocket, who can’t resist crying along with it. Luckily, Goh thinks of a way to block the effects of Sobble’s tears, so he and Ash send Team Rocket blasting off again! Goh apologizes to Sobble, and the little Pokémon is once again overwhelmed—this time with joy!

Toughing It Out!

With tickets to see Leon battle Galar’s Dragon-type Gym Leader Raihan in the World Coronation Series, our heroes couldn’t be more excited! Both competitors are strong, but the undefeated Leon wins again!

Then, after hearing about a young hero who once saved Galar from the effects of a devastating storm, Ash and Goh come across a Galarian Farfetch’d. Although it’s similar to Goh’s Farfetch’d from Kanto, this regional form carries a huge leek that it uses in battle. The Galarian Farfetch’d has been challenging any Trainer who crosses its path—and after battling it and being impressed by its tenacity, Ash welcomes it as the newest member of his team!

Splash, Dash, and Smash for the Crown! / Slowking's Crowning!

The Magikarp high jump competition is here, and Goh and his Magikarp want to beat Kasukarp and his partner, Shinegoldie! After some intense training, Goh’s Magikarp leaves Shinegoldie in its wake—but it jumps so high that it enters the stratosphere and doesn’t come back, leaving it disqualified.

Then, our heroes visit Slowpoke Island, where they meet lots of Slowpoke and a Slowking! Goh wants to catch Slowking, but the Shellder on its head comes off, and one by one, our heroes find it on top of their heads, resulting in some strange behavior! When the chaos clears, the Shellder ends up back on Slowking’s head—along with Goh’s Magikarp!

A Festival Reunion!

Ash and Goh arrive in the Kalos region, where Goh wants to catch new Pokémon, while Ash wants to raise his World Coronation Series ranking by competing in the Battle Festival Challenge!

Ash discovers that his friend Korrina, the Gym Leader of Shalour City, is also competing with her partner Lucario. Both Trainers are one win away from ranking up to the Great Class, so they decide to have a battle! Korrina’s Lucario defeats Ash’s Gengar, but when Ash sends out Dragonite, an unusual strategy takes shape. Even through Lucario Mega Evolves, one final attack gives Ash the win—and a spot in the Great Class!

Ash and Goh are searching for a giant Pokémon who’s rumored to live in a nearby lake—it turns out to be a Magikarp, who Goh catches with the disguised Team Rocket trio’s help! Then, Matori suddenly attacks, but the trio can’t stand seeing her get the upper hand, so they help Ash and Goh defeat her! Perhaps she’ll think twice before excluding them again?

It’s a beautiful day in Cerise Park, and Goh sets out to feed the resident Pokémon. Suddenly, our heroes realize that every tray of Pokémon food is empty, and the Pokémon are still hungry! Accusations fly, and a huge brawl erupts, so Ash and Goh are determined to solve the mystery of the missing food. Even Golurk goes on a rampage, but when Goh’s trio of Cascoon are put in a perilous situation, the park Pokémon join forces to help them evolve! As peace returns to Cerise Park, Ash and Goh finally discover the culprit—cheeky little Skwovet has been hiding all the food for itself!

Our heroes are in Hoenn to research the migration of Beautifly—the window of time to do this is small, so when a north wind appears, Ash and Goh must be ready!

Meanwhile, Raboot has been sneaking away at night, and Goh is frustrated with its attitude. Looking for answers, Goh and Ash follow Raboot…and they discover that it’s been helping the local Pokémon secure their home by way of a dance battle! Goh decides Raboot will be happier without him, but just as he’s about to leave, he panics. Right on time, though, Raboot appears—and although it’s still a bit aloof, Goh is happy to be reunited!

As Professor Cerise discusses Pokémon Eggs, Goh reveals he’s never seen one before, so he and Ash set off to find one! Along the way, Ash wins another World Coronation Series battle, but Pikachu needs to visit the Pokémon Center to recover. There, our heroes learn that Nurse Joy is caring for a Pokémon Egg that won’t hatch. Feeling a connection with the Egg, Ash agrees to care for it. It finally hatches into a Riolu, who runs off and ends up in over its head in battles with wild Pokémon. After Ash arrives and helps it battle, a bond forms, and Riolu becomes a part of Ash’s Pokémon family!

It’s time for Professor Cerise’s Pokémon Orienteering session! Three teams of young kids will head to Vermilion Port, and the team that arrives first (while spotting the most Pokémon en route) wins! Ash and Goh serve as guides: Goh’s team marvels at how many Pokémon he’s caught, and Ash’s team is delighted when he shows off his battling skills. But when Team Rocket threatens to steal everyone’s Pokémon, Ash and Goh come up with a combination move that sends the villains blasting off again! The kids are full of admiration for Ash and Goh, and the professor declares this Pokémon Orienteering session a rousing success!

Ash and Goh are excited to watch a movie being made! They meet one of the stars, a Ditto who’s developed a fear of performing. Fleeing the movie set, it ends up with Team Rocket. As a self-proclaimed actress, Jessie finds a soft spot in her heart for Ditto, and together they work on conquering its fears. That’s when Ditto learns how to snap out of it—by giving itself a brisk slap on the face!

Back at the movie set, Ditto knows what to do: a quick slap on the face, and it’s a huge success! Meanwhile, Jessie wistfully wishes her new friend luck…from one actor to another.

Ash has entered the World Coronation Series so he can have a rematch with Leon! But first, he needs to challenge a strong Trainer with a high ranking so he can work his way up the competitive ladder. Luckily for him, the acting Vermilion Gym Leader, Visquez, is hoping to challenge someone, too! Each Trainer can use two Pokémon, so Ash chooses Pikachu and Gengar, while Visquez teams up with Raichu and Electrode. Visquez has outstanding battle skills, but as always, Ash is thinking outside the box when it comes to strategies. He wins the match, immediately raising his rank to 3,763! On to the next challenge!

Kicking It from Here Into Tomorrow!

When Goh’s Darmanitan challenges Scorbunny to use a Fire-type move, Scorbunny tries as hard as it can but comes up short. It begins training hard so it can use the move Ember, but Goh sees things differently and thinks Scorbunny should focus on the moves it already knows—much to Scorbunny’s sadness and anger. Later, during a run-in with Team Rocket, Goh devises a way for Scorbunny to use its own version of Ember. The move works, and Scorbunny defeats Team Rocket…and also evolves into Raboot! Goh is thrilled, but Raboot seems aloof and walks past its Trainer. What could be wrong?

Gengar has resumed its pranks on the Cerise Laboratory…giving our heroes another opportunity to catch it! But when Ash suddenly comes down with a case of bad luck, Goh says it could be Gengar’s curse. Ash goes for a jog to try to snap out of it, and he runs into Gengar’s former Trainer—prompting Gengar itself to emerge from Ash’s shadow! Gengar is furious because its Trainer abandoned it long ago, but after helping Ash and Pikachu battle Team Rocket, it makes it clear that it now wants to join Ash’steam. Ash is happy to oblige—and Gengar’s anger finally subsides!

Snowy weather forces Professor Cerise to temporarily close the lab for repairs, so he asks Ash and Goh to return to their homes in the meantime. Goh is happy to see his grandma again, but his parents are busy working elsewhere, so he decides to go meet up with them. Walking through a park, he encounters a Cubone being teased by a trio of Mankey. The Mankey steal Cubone’s bone, and the poor little Pokémon’s despair prompts Goh to help. Ash eventually arrives, and with some help from their Pokémon, our heroes successfully return the bone. The formerly lonely Cubone is so thankful, it insists on joining Goh’s team!

Upon arriving in the Unova region, Ash and Goh hear about a place they just have to explore: Colossus Ruins! First, they must cross the fiery-hot Desert Resort, which seems impossible. But an explorer named Kira shows them how to glide across it, and soon they land at their destination. After a perilous journey through the ruins, they discover the identity of the Colossus: a giant Golurk! Designed to protect an ancient city at all costs, the awakened Golurk attacks with devastating power, but Ash, Goh, and the other explorers take it on in a Raid Battle—and Goh succeeds at catching it!

When Ash and Goh finally meet the Monarch, Ash challenges him to a battle…and Leonagrees! He lends Ash a Dynamax Band, and the battle between Pikachu and Charizard begins. With both Pokémon Gigantamaxing, the excitement reaches a new level! Leon wins, but Ash is grateful for the opportunity, and he looks forward to a rematch someday…in an official tournament!

The World Coronation Series is here, and Ash and Goh have tickets to watch the final match! In a thrilling battle, Lance of the Kanto Elite Four and his red Gyarados go up against Leon, the undefeated Champion of the Galar region, and his Charizard. The action kicks into high gear when Gyarados becomes Dynamax Gyarados and Charizard becomes Gigantamax Charizard. The two Pokémon trade overwhelming attacks, but Charizard’s G-Max Wildfire stops Gyarados in its tracks, giving Leon yet another victory! But just as the battle wraps up, a Gigantamax Drednaw appears and starts to wreak havoc on the stadium. What will happen next?

At her dad’s suggestion, Chloe tells Yamper to use Spark against Gengar—it works, and Chloe and Yamper’s bond is now stronger than ever!

While exploring, they come across a Dragonair who’s having trouble learning how to fly. Determined to help, Ash does some training with Dragonair, and soon it’s flying high. When Team Rocket attacks, it springs into action, evolving into Dragonite to rescue Ash—and then it happily joins his team! Our heroes return to the Cerise Laboratory with some amazing stories…and a new friend!

Finding a Legend!

Ash and Goh head to Ecruteak City in Johto to investigate rumors of a Ho-Oh sighting, and when they arrive, they see something that looks like Ho-Oh flying in the sky! But it’s actually an imitation created by a boy named Chad, whose grandfather Jaye has been unsuccessfully searching for the Legendary Pokémon for years. Jaye has become convinced that Ho-Oh isn’t real, but Ash knows otherwise. Our heroes accompany Chad and Jaye to the top of Bell Tower, where they call out for Ho-Oh. Nothing happens, but just as Ash, Goh, and Chad start to leave, Jaye takes one last look toward the sky…and finally sees Ho-Oh for himself!
